DescriptionAccording to an August 5, 1875 Macomb Journal article, Scott's building was damaged in a tornado on August 4. for more information, see vertical file--Macomb--Tornadoes.
According to the 1876 Macomb city directory, Scott's Block was on the southeast corner of the square. David Scott was an undertaker and carried furniture, china, glass, queensware, pictures, and frames.
