DescriptionObject on the right is the famous utica crib. To the left is the box-bed in which a naked woman lived for 43 years in an almshouse. Center is the so-called hock or strong back chair. All of these were abolished. Original image in the 5th Bienneal Report of the Trustees, Superintendent & Treasurer of the Illinois Asylum for the Incurable Insane at Peoria. June 30, 1904-June 6, 1906
