| Transcription | Dear Friends, The Rafael Cancel Miranda Puerto Rican High School, Inc. is pleased to invite you to the celebration of the 10th anniversary of its founding. Ever since 1973, our High School has been one of the most successful and unique institutions in our community. As a focal center of our poor and depressed community it has been a beacon of hope for many. It has not only graduated dozens upon dozens of students, most of whome would more than likely never have had the opportunity to receive a high school dipolma, but it has served as the very nucleus of a series of other programs now grouped in the Puerto Rican Cultural Center. These include a Child-Parent Development Center, Adult Education Learning Center with particular emphasis on computer programming, a publishing enterprise named Editorial Coqui, and extended concept of a library with 10, 000 volumes, an audio-visual program and film library, and a community law program. |
