| Description | As found with the documentation: BLASTOMYCETIC LEPTOMENINGITIS / NA 48/44 / 40 year old male who was well until 6 days prior to..., at which time he was injured in an unspecified ' He was amnesiac for the episode and in the next 2 days developed a left hemiplegia'. Patient was found to have a left supranuclear facial... mild dysarthria left 12th nerve weaknesses, left hemiplegia... reflexes and absent abdominals and a left hemihypa... with anesthesia over the left hand and lower forearm... puncture was... in all respects. Skull x-rays were.... / Burr holes were made for ventriculography, but... pressure was found, and on the right side, there appeared to be a diminished pulsation. The cortex on this side was flat and grey in color. Within a few hours thereafter, patient appeared to suffer a vascular accident associated with convulsive movements and rigidity of all extremities, and died several hours later. |
