| Description | As found with the documentation: EPENDYMOMA OF THE SEPTUM PELLUCIDUM NA 54/46 Female who, 2-1/2 years prior to death, presented signs of increased intracranial pressure without any definite localization. Following a right subtemporal decompression, she lived 2-1/2 years completely asymptomatic. Shortly before her second admission, the intracranial pressure increased and a left-sided decompression proved of no benefit. The patient died shortly thereafter. At autopsy, a large midline glioma arising apparently from the septum pellucidum was found. Its histological character was reported as an ependymoma. |
