| Description | View southwest along the Chicago River, with tour boats moored along its south bank. The United Insurance Building (now Unitrin Building) is on the left. The former Sun-Times Building is partly visible on the right (along the north side of the river), with the IBM Building (330 North Wabash) and Marina City behind it. The Wabash Avenue bridge runs across the center of the image, and behind that is the Ryan Insurance Building (originally Blue Cross-Blue Shield Building, now 55 West Wacker). The James R. Thompson Center (State of Illinois Building) is to its left. |
