DescriptionView, looking southwest from the North Halsted Street bridge at the southern end of Goose Island, of the facilities of the Material Service Corporation (now Prairie Material, Ready Mix Yard No. 32) at 835 North Peoria Street. Material Service company barges are docked adjacent to the facility on the west bank of the North Chicago River for offloading cargo. The rear of the St. John Cantius Church (825 North Carpenter Street) is visible in the distance on the right.
