| Description | View of the Dominick's grocery store, part of the Pipers Alley Mall complex, looking east along West North Avenue. The complex extended the entire length of the block between N. North Park Avenue and North Wells Street, with parking on the upper level, other retail space, and the Lincoln Park Court Club (racquetball club) on the eastern end. The eastern portion of the complex has since been extensively remodeled, and the facade replaced. Behind the complex, two high-rise apartment buildings are visible: the Americana Towers (1636 North Wells Street), and Eugenie Square (1660 North LaSalle Street). |
