The Chez Paul restaurant (660 North Rush Street) is visible on the right of the image. The top of Nickerson House (now Driehaus Museum) is visible near the center of the image through the trees. On the extreme left is a corner of the American College of Surgeons building at 55 East Erie Street (demolished). Brubaker's caption on the original slide mount reads "Tree-lined street".
