| Description | View northeast from the perimeter of Atrium Village, looking across North Wells Street. A parking lot is visible on the east side of Wells Street, and behind it, the rear of the LaSalle Park Apartments (1140 North LaSalle Street) is visible. The LaSalle Towers Apartments (1211 North LaSalle Street) are visible beyond the trees. Originally a hotel, this building was converted into apartments around 1980, and the exterior was painted with trompe l'oeil murals. Eliot House (1255 N Sandburg), part of the Sandburg Village development, is visible to the left of the LaSalle Towers. |
