The John Sexton Building, located at Illinois and Orleans Streets, is visible at the lower left. At the time of the photograph, the building served as a warehouse and manufacturing facility, but has since been converted into condominiums. At the bottom center of the photograph, Assumption Catholic Church and its steeple (323 West Illinois Street) are visible. The John Hancock Center and Water Tower Place stand out against the sky on the upper right. |
