| Description | View looking northeast at Near North Side skyscrapers and towards the lake. Millennium Park now stands where the gable-roofed high-rise and parking lot are in the lower right. The Smurfit-Stone building (150 N. Michigan Avenue, now Crain Communications Building, originally Associates Center) is in the lower left corner, with the Prudential Building (130 East Randolph Street, now One Prudential Plaza), Two Prudential Plaza (180 North Stetson Avenue) and the Amoco Building (200 East Randolph Street, now Aon Center, originally Standard Oil Building) to the right. Navy Pier is visible in the distance to the right of the Amoco Building (Aon Center). A cluster of apartment buildings is in the middle right. These are Buckingham Plaza (360 East Randolph Street) and 400 East Randolph, and behind them, North Harbor Tower (175 North Harbor Drive) and Harbor Point (155 North Harbor Drive). |
