DescriptionView looking southwest along the east side of North LaSalle Street from the intersection with West Grand Avenue. The Anti-Cruelty Society building is in the foreground at the southwest corner of the intersection. 500 North LaSalle (originally LaSalle Street Cable Car Powerhouse), home to Ireland's seafood restaurant at the time of the photograph, is next to it on the left. The top part of the Merchandise Mart is visible behind it. The Sears Tower rises on the upper left of the photograph.
