| Description | This Romanesque Revival building located at 632 North Dearborn Street, at the northwest corner of North Dearborn and West Ontario Streets, was used by the Chicago Historical Society until 1931. The building was for sale at the time of the photograph, and subsequently became home to the Limelight nightclub for a short period. The Excalibur nightclub is now in operation in this building. The 640 North LaSalle Building is visible on the far left side of the photograph behind the gas stations. On the far right side of the image 642 and 650 North LaSalle stand in a derelict state. |
