| Title | North Orleans Street and industrial buildings |
| Description | View looking southeast towards the east side of North Orleans Street. The Adlake Building (320 West Ohio Street) is on the left. This building originally was the factory for the Adams & Westlake Manufacturing Company. Next to it, on the right, across West Ohio Street, is the La Salle Street Press building, housing what was once the largest financial printer in Chicago. The steeple of Assumption Catholic Church (323 West Illinois Street) is visible on the far right of the photograph, and part of the facade of the Merchandise Mart behind it. The beginning of the Kennedy Expressway on-ramp is in the foreground. |
