DescriptionView of 936 North Michigan Avenue, looking northwest from the intersection with East Walton Street. At the time of the photograph, the building housed a candy store and a shoe store on the ground level, and offices and other businesses on the upper levels. This building was demolished in 1979 to make way for One Mag Mile (940-980 North Michigan Avenue). Brubaker's caption on the original slide mount reads "936 North Michigan = rich texture."
