DescriptionPulliam Hall was originally called the University School and served as the education students' laboratory school. A cornerstone laying ceremony occurred on July 2, 1949. The first stage was completed in 1951 and the second stage in 1954. It was the first major building constructed since Parkinson Laboratory was completed in 1928. It was named after Southern Illinois University's sixth president Roscoe Pulliam.
