Baseball Player Jerry Bond
Baseball Player Jerry Bond
TitleBaseball Player Jerry Bond
Creatorunknown
DescriptionFrom the National Newspaper of Collegiate Baseball: "The Salukis took an early lead in what proved to be the final game of the 1968 World Series. Here Jerry Bond is scampering home with the first run of the game after leading off with a hustling double and scoring on Mike Rogodzinski's single. Omaha fans liked everything about the Salukis - their white shoes and plastic helmets, their bat girls, their hustling tactics - and show their approval here with vocal support." The Salukis would lose the game to North Carolina State 7-6. June 1968.
