| Transcript | Bryson Rebounds Southern capitalized on 26 of its 32 free throw attempts and was supplied with yeoman rebounding work by Bryson and Lambert, who had 12 and 11, respectively. At Central, it was a different through the first half, 22-12, and although it outplayed the Chippewas the rest of the way, the deficit was too much to wipe out. The Salukis did take a lead, 37-36, for a few fleeting moments in the last half, but it was short-lived as Central grabbed the upper hand again. After trailing by 22-12, Southern went into a 2-3 zone defense, and it provided a degree of success, but when the opportunity was there to go ahead, they never could find the basket in a flurry of ball-exchanges down to the final horn. |
