| Transcript | ALPHA PHI ALPHA ANNUAL DANCE Tomorrow is the night of the Alpha's sixth annual Sweetheart's Ball. The Sweetheart and her attendants will dance to the music of the Russel Branch Band in the Woody Hall cafeteria from 9 p. m. until 12:30 a. m. The Sweetheart finalists are Connie King of Chicago. Carol Latting o Memphis and Wyonne Mays of Pasquola. Miss. One of these co-eds will be crowned Alpha Sweetheart residing for the academic year of 1959-60, replacing the retiring sweetheart, Norma Jean Morris. The coronation will begin at 11:30 p.m. Herman Ayers will act as master of ceremonies. At the last meeting of the brothers, Charles Steptoe was appointed parliamentarian to reside over all meetings. John Flamer took part in the cross — country meet with illinois Normal last Friday. Pledge Larry Simpson and Herman Ayers are now in training for wrestling. Last year, Ayers took the 154 pound class championship in the National Associstion of Intercollege Athletes. |
