| Description content summary | Portrait of Marcus Ch'eng. "Marcus Ch'eng was perhaps the Chinese protege of the Evangelical Covenant Church most well-known in both America and Sweden during the first half of this century. Ch'eng began work in 1909 at the joint seminary of the American and Swedish Covenant at Kingchow. Ch'eng learned both English and Swedish and traveled to the West in 1920, 1928, and 1948.
