DescriptionTableau 45. Portrait of two chiefs. Mehskeme-Sukahs, at left wears a hide shirt decorated with otter fur, beadwork and metal trade buttons. Feathers, a bearclaw and the skin of a small ermine or weasel are worn in his hair. Tatsicki-Stomick, at right, wears a less elaborate shirt with only two strips of beadwork and blue face paint.
