The following ordinance in relation to vacation of streets was read.

Whereas Robert Milne owns all land between the east limits of the Corporation of Lockport and south of seventh (7th) street to a point south of eighth (8th) street, and east of Madison Street, in said Village and whereas 7th and 8th streets are laid out and extend into said Milne's enclosure and are not required for the use or convenience of the public therefore it as
Ordained by the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Lockport - that so much of and all of 7th street as lies east of Madison Street and south of the south line of the public road laid out and traveled on the center line east and west of Section (23) down (36) North, Range 10 East and all of 8th Street that lies east of the east line of Madison Street is hereby vacated and abandoned as Streets or public highways. Provided said Robert Milne owner of the lands adjoining said 7th and 8th Streets pays to the Treasurer of the Village of Lockport the sum of fifty dollars($50.00) for the benefit and use of said Corporation as a full and complete consideration for the use and vacation of said Streets.
On motion of George Williams the above ordinance was adopted.

I, Stephen Dowse, Clerk of the President and Trustees of the Village of Lockport do hereby certify that the above, is a true and correct
