| Description | Small framed box with photograph. Day was born in New York City on March 5, 1811. She was the eldest daughter of William and Maria Day. She married Edwin C. Read on February 14, 1833 and after his death and several moves, went to live with her son Eugene B. Read in Lockport, Illinois from 1892 to 1904. This photograph was taken in Columbus, Ohio when she moved there to live with her son Bruce.
