Back: [To] Mrs Emma Anderson, Augustana Hospital, Chicago, Ill.; Joliet Ill., Nov. 15, 1908, Dear Emma:- Well this is Friday morning I suppose you are siting [sitting] up nowadays Pa says he don't feel like coming to Chicago Sunday, but I guess he'll go when Sunday comes if he don't go I'll go. Hopping [Hoping] you are better. [Signed] Albert.; it [is] getting quite chilly hear [here] in Joliet. we are going to put the heater up next week. I haven't been out for a couple of days but I am going out to Peterson this morning.
