Transcript[To] Miss Vera Jamieson, Plainfield, Ill.; July-24-1919, Dear Cousin. Rec'd your card & was glad to hear that you arrived home safe. I haven't heard from Nettie since you were here. I am sending her a card today The Race Horse is quite friskey [frisky] now as he don't [doesn't] get much exercise since you left. You will have to come down & run him around the block a few times. he didn't get home till [until] 4 oclock Monday morning. It looks like it was going to rain hope we get a good shower.
