Transcript[To] Miss Bertha Bohlander, Monee, Ills.; R.D. c/o Wm. Bohlander.; Sept. 13th 08. Dear Bertha, Why in the world don't you write or haven't you the time? Where did you spend Labor Day? I was home all day until evening, then I went calling. We went to Riverside Park a week ago Sunday. Had a fine time. Went to Harry's sister's for dinner. Mama and I went to the city Thurs. I got a new suit. To-day [today] seems lonely. I don't know what to do for pass time. Will ring off as it is dinner time. hoping to hear from you real soon. [Signed] Lovingly Mabel.
