Not having the opportunity of seeing you or either of the Canal Coms. & since the purpose of this law authority the XXXX of a portion of the canal lands XXXX XXXX course to this matter of laying before your Board my wish that you would offer the lot on which I reside -- & upon which I improve XXXX of considerable value. I wish to know at an early a day as may be matters this selection can be made that I may be preparing myself for this fall.
