TranscriptCOLORED CELEBRATION. -- We hear that
that our newly enfranchised citizens of
color are making the most extensive prep-
arations to celebrate the ratification of
the fifteenth amendment. The event will
take place on next Monday, and will
be the occasion of much rejoicing and con-
siderable speech-making. We trust that
our new citizens will bear their acquired
rights with becoming dignity.
