| Description | At Galesburg, Ill., in 1903, old No. 1 on the Fulton County Narrow Gauge (36" gauge) paused to have her picture made. She was built by Baldwin in 1878 and rebuilt by the CB&Q in 1902. The FCNG was inc. in Aug. 14, 1878; road opened from Havana, Ill., to Fairview, 29.7 miles, Nov. 1, 1880. The Fairview to Galesburg extension, 31.3 miles, was opened Dec. 1, 1880. Now part of the Burlington. |
