Routes originate in Chicago, Illinois and spread westward terminating in central Montana, western Wyoming and western Colorado. The northernmost route is just south of the Canadian border; the southernmost route runs on a line from St. Louis, Missouri through southern Nebraska to Colorado. An inset map shows an overall view of the Burlington routes.
