DescriptionFrom the introduction, the report "... includes every water which is now used in locomotives on this road, besides some waters which have been abandoned, and many waters from other available sources. All have been analyzed and classified, and are here recorded. The total number of analyses is two hundred and fourteen (214); the number of watering stations, one hundred and twenty-nine (129)."
