Title[Linder]
DescriptionA tornado or whirlwind emanating from the earth into space encompass two views of Ben Linder, a young American engineer who was killed by Contras in Nicaragua while working on a hydroelectric project. One image is of Ben as a young boy watching a lightning storm through a window. The other depicts him as an older man on top of a cliff looking out over the ocean. Linder was a national hero in Nicaragua for the work that he did and many people within Nicaragua and the United States mourned his passing; he was only 27 years old when he died.
