TitleEl Mercado
Translated titleMarket
DescriptionPainted in 1987 by Autor Oman Diaz in collaboration with Daniel Hopewell. This primativist mural is of the market at ENAPUM. It is displayed on a wall at the mural school and done for practice by the student Autor Oman Diaz. The marketplace is set in a rather black environment but itself displays plenty of food: fruit, meat, vegetables. A steer at top left looks off into the distance. Henry Houser states that it "seems to be another portrayal of peace and plenty."
