| Title | [Telcor Building] |
| Description | This mural was painted on the side of a telecommunications building. It shows Sandino and Carlos Fonseca, the FSLN flag, a figure with a gun raised, a row of corn, a hi-tech communication dish with a moon in the background (suitable for a communications building). Henry Houser notes that, "what can be made out is in keeping with the theme of the revolution ushering in an age of productivity. The modern technology is out of keeping with other portrayals." The mural was never finished, because of a lack of paint and the condition of the wall; the artist passed away before it could be completed. Much of the mural was worn away by the time this photograph was taken. |
