This
small
bowl
is
decorated
on the
interior
with the
image
of what
may
be the
deity
,
Kokyang
Wuuti
(Spider
Woman).
This
is
suggested
by the
eight
arms.
Although
there
is
a
shrine
to her in
every
Hopi
village
,
unlike
some
other
deities
, she
is
never
impersonated
in
ceremonies.
