Description
Ladles
such
as this were
used
to
dip
water
from a
jar
or
medicine
from a
bowl.
The
exterior
motifs
may
be
clouds
or
possibly
leaves;
the
interior
painted
design
seems
to be a
cloud
and
feather
motif.
Feathers
are
used
as
prayer
sticks
and
prayer
plumes
to
offer
prayers
to the
gods
and
spirits
in the
clouds
asking
for
rain
or
snow.
