DescriptionAlbert Bischoff was born July 7, 1885. On November 8, 1909, at the age of 24, he married Maude Tabor Bischoff. She had been born in Searcy, Arkansas on April 19, 1889. Together they owned and operated Bischoff Meat and Grocery Market. According to the City Directory of 1920, their business was located at 118 North and 205 N. Linden Streets in Normal. Albert Bischoff was a grocery man for 50 years before his retirement and death October 15, 1968. At the time of Maude's death in February 1980, the family included a son, two daughters, six grandchildren, and eleven great-grandchildren.
