DescriptionThe artist is pictured seated by her work. One vessel has an open top but two ear-shaped handles, another slightly smaller piece on a pedestal-shaped base has a lid but no handles, and the smallest piece also has no handles and a lid. All three have dark lines appearing randomly through the dark brown but variegated surface colors, and all three have a high-gloss finish. 10th annual Senior art purchase award.

SourceStudent Art Purchase Award;Since 1996 the Illinois Wesleyan University Library has annually purchased a piece of artwork selected from among works exhibited by senior, Bachelor of Fine Arts students in the School of Art. The award is presented during the opening reception of B.F.A. show held each April. The winning work is displayed on the entry level of Ames Library for one academic year, after which it is relocated to the Ames Library second floor where the entire collection of student artwork is permanently displayed.
