DescriptionTwo young boys in long, untucked white shirts and blue shorts are walking away from the viewer in this work. The boy on the left has brown hair, the other has darker hair. Both are wearing white ankle socks. The boy on the left has dark-topped shoes with white towards the soles, and the other boy has all black shoes. The whole work has a washed appearance with streaks of varying widths in blues, browns and greys. 6th annual university libraries senior art purchase award.

SourceStudent Art Purchase Award;Since 1996 the Illinois Wesleyan University Library has annually purchased a piece of artwork selected from among works exhibited by senior, Bachelor of Fine Arts students in the School of Art. The award is presented during the opening reception of B.F.A. show held each April. The winning work is displayed on the entry level of Ames Library for one academic year, after which it is relocated to the Ames Library second floor where the entire collection of student artwork is permanently displayed.
