| Description | Large brick home with two wings, windows, two large chimneys, dormer windows in the attic, and a decorative scroll pediment over the front door. A curved driveway leads up to the building. A sign by the front steps reads: "W.M. Allen Son & Co. General Contractors Peoria, ILL." Bare trees are in the yard around the building. Since 1978, this building has been known as "The Children's Home." |
