DescriptionImage of the Jobst-Bethard building at the corner of Washington and Oak Streets in Peoria, Illinois. It is a six story brick structure with lots of windows, a fire escape, and the bottom floor opens out on to Washington St. Half of the ground floor is enclosed and the other half is held up by steel columns. A water tower is on the roof of the building with "Jobst Bethard Company" painted on it. Utility poles and a fire hydrant are on the sidewalk. Snow is on the ground across the street from the building, in the foreground.
