DescriptionImage of a train pulling freight cars stopped on snow covered tracks. A group of men are pictured standing next to a sign on the first freight car. The sign on the car has "A=B=C" on it. The caption at the top of the image reads: "The First Solid Train-Load Of Washing Machines Ever Shipped To One Distributor. Shipped Dec. 6, 1919 By Altorfer Bros. Company, Peoria, Ills. To A.A. Wilson, Los Angeles, Calif." The train is noted as a Minneapolis & St. Louis locomotive on the back of the print.
