DescriptionOutdoor portrait of two young boys standing in front of a large flowering bush. They are holding branches and flowers from the bush, and shadows from the flowers and bush are cast on their clothes and faces. The shorter boy has a larger amount of flowers, and his arms are wrapped around them. The taller boy has a few flowers in each hand, and one hand is raised. Both boys are wearing hats, but the shorter boy's hat is more visible. Perhaps the work of HH or RM Cole, active in central Illinois from 1854-1902.
