Man and card board woman
TitleMan and card board woman
Clothing & dress
DescriptionIndoor portrait of a young man and cardboard cut-out woman couple sitting in front of a sheet backdrop. In front of them is a cloth with the words "ALVIN SILVER" printed on it. The woman is on the left and she is wearing a dress and a necklace. Her dress is gathered over on her side in a large flower. The man is wearing a suit, and he is sitting behind the woman with his arm around her. His index finger is pointing toward the woman, and he has his face tilted toward her like he is talking to her from behind. Perhaps the work of HH or RM Cole, active in central Illinois from 1854-1902.
