DescriptionOutdoor portrait of a woman standing in front of a large flowering bush. The woman looks half the size of the bush because the picture shows the whole bush as well as the tops of the trees behind the bush. She is wearing a dress, and she has a brooch pinned on one shoulder. One hand is reaching up into the bush, and that hand is holding one of the branches. Her other hand is holding something at her waist. She is looking at the camera. Perhaps the work of HH or RM Cole, active in central Illinois from 1854-1902.
