| Description | Outdoor group portrait of a young boy, a young girl, and a toddler posed in front of a large flowering bush. The toddler is standing on a round end table between the boy and the girl. The toddler is holding some flowers from the bush and is looking off to the side. The boy has some flowers in the button-hole of his suit coat, and he is looking up at the toddler and smiling. His arm is supporting the toddler. The girl is wearing a dress and a large hair bow, and her arm is resting on the table with flowers in her hand. Her other arm is hanging down at her side with that hand in a fist. She is looking at the camera. (There is some kind of tape all around the edge of the glass plate). Perhaps the work of HH or RM Cole, active in central Illinois from 1854-1902. |
