| Description | Outdoor group portrait of three women, a boy, a toddler, and a girl standing in front of a large flowering bush. Two women wearing dresses are standing on the right side of the picture. The woman on the far right has her hands folded and held at her waist. In the middle are the boy and the toddler. The toddler is standing up on an end table and is leaning over on the boy's shoulder. The boy is standing between a woman and the table. He is wearing a suit, and he has flowers one hand. The other hand is supporting the toddler. The girl is on the other side of the table, and she has one arm resting on the table with her legs crossed. She is wearing a dress and a large hair bow. Another woman is standing on the other side of the girl, on the left side of the picture. Her body is facing the table and she is not looking at the camera. Trees and grass are behind the group and the bush. Perhaps the work of HH or RM Cole, active in central Illinois from 1854-1902. |
