| Description | Outdoor group portrait of a man, young boy, woman, young girl, and a boy toddler standing in front of a large flowering bush. The man is on the right side of the picture with his hands on the shoulders of the toddler standing in front of him. The man is wearing a suit and bow tie, and the toddler has a jacket with a wide collar and shorts. The boy is in the middle, and he is wearing a dress shirt with a large tie and shorts. The woman is on the left side of the picture and she is wearing a dress. The woman is mostly blocked by the girl standing in front of her, and the girl is wearing a dress and a large hair bow. The girl is holding a large bouquet of flowers from the bush in her arms, and she is looking at them. The man and the toddler have some flowers in their hands too. No one is really smiling, but the woman and the boy are looking at the camera. Perhaps the work of HH or RM Cole, active in central Illinois from 1854-1902. |
