| Description | Outdoor group portrait of a man, little girl, woman, two older women, and two young boys. The man is holding the little girl in one arm, and the woman is standing next to him but there is a space between them. In front of them are the two older women, and they are seated in wooden chairs. The two boys are sitting on the ground in front of the seated women. All the women have dresses and the little girl has a dress too. The man is wearing a suit and bow tie, and the boys are wearing dress clothes too. The seated boy on the right side has glasses and a large neck tie. Behind everyone are trees, a road, and a sidewalk. A bush is on the left side of the picture. Perhaps the work of HH or RM Cole, active in central Illinois from 1854-1902. |
